My Approach:
Reaching out for support can feel unfamiliar or even uncomfortable at first, especially if you’re used to managing things on your own. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and better understand what may be contributing to feeling overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected.
I aim to provide a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can feel at ease being yourself. Together, we explore patterns in thoughts, emotions and behaviours, while also recognizing how your nervous system responds to stress and challenge.
With experience supporting individuals in crisis and child and youth care settings, I have worked with a range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, relationship challenges, and neurodivergence. I believe in each person’s capacity for growth and change.
Our work focuses on building insight, strengthening coping, creating a sense of safety, and supporting sustainable shifts aligned with your longer-term goals.
Preferred Modalities:
My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I primarily draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Polyvagal Theory, and somatic-based approaches.
I incorporate play-based and creative interventions, when appropriate, support emotional expression, regulation and engagement.
Together, we focus on building awareness, strengthening coping and supporting more flexible and grounded ways of responding.
